Noteworthy Accomplishments
To Date (2021-2025)
Despite numerous challenges, TOM 1972 Inc. has remained resolute and steadfast in pursuit of its objectives, and has recorded unprecedented milestones for the alumni organization.
1)
The active registration of Tau Omega Mu (MCMLXXII), Inc. (a.k.a.) TOM 1972, as a legal non-stock, non-profit organization with the SEC, BIR, LGU, etc.
2)
The review, ratification and approval of the 2025 Amended Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of TOM 1972 Inc.
3)
The registration of 158 Omegans (as of 30 November 2025) into the Lifetime Active Membership Program (LAMP) and collection of the appropriate membership dues
4)
The organization of the First TOMSERVES Convergence, the 49th (online) and 50th TOM Anniversary celebrations, as well as numerous meetings to discuss crucial issues
5)
Numerous fund-raising activities to assist Omegan frontline health workers during the pandemic, as well as many others severely affected by typhoons and floods.
6)
The organization of the TOM 1972 Secretariat composed of volunteer brods and sis, tasked with implementing the work program of the alumni organization
7)
The use of social media and online technologies to conduct information dissemination and strategic communications campaigns.
8)
The registration of TOM 1972 Inc.'s profit corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission
9)
The maintenance of official bank accounts and the submission of corresponding Audited Financial Statements in compliance with SEC and BIR rules.
